By accessing or using Pin the Moment ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service and Payments

Pin the Moment is a shared world map platform allowing users to place digital "pins". The Service is limited to a one-time capacity of 1,000,000 total pins.

Payments: Certain pin types require a one-time sponsorship fee. All payments are processed securely through our partner, Polar.sh. By completing a purchase, you agree to their respective terms of service.

Refund Policy: Due to the immediate, digital, and public nature of pin placement, all sponsorship fees are non-refundable once the pin has been successfully placed on the map, unless required by applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction.

3. User Conduct and Content Guidelines

To maintain a high-quality community space, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or highly offensive material.
• Hate speech, promotion of violence, or harassment.
• Malware, phishing, or links to malicious websites.
• Infringement of third-party intellectual property.

We reserve the right to remove any pin that violates these guidelines without notice and without providing a refund.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you post. However, you grant Pin the Moment a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content across our map platform and associated social media or community channels.

5. Public Nature of Content

WARNING: Everything you post—including messages, links, and location data—is public. Do not post information you wish to keep private. Pin the Moment is not responsible for any third-party use of the public information you provide.

6. Limitation of Liability

Pin the Moment is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Service, including the loss of data or the unavailability of the platform. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Data Persistence

While we aim to make the 1,000,000 pins a lasting record, we do not guarantee indefinite accessibility or hosting of the Service. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Service due to technical, legal, or financial constraints.
